Brucep 0 Posted November 14, 2005 Does anyone have an electrical diagram for a 7016 MFG# 1690423 16 horse? I have a service and repair manual that list my tractor as one of the models covered yet in the electrical section they don't show a diagram for mine. The diagram starts at 1690474 and my tractor is 1690423. If it listed them starting at a lower number with mine in between then I would assume mine is the diagram shown but they don't. Has any one else had this problem? I can't find a diagram in the tech pubs either. This book wasn't cheap, and it leaves a lot to be desired. This isn't the first thing I have ran into with it. Brucep 0 Posted November 14, 2005 Thanks Mack. I went back into the tech pubs to see if I could find out where you found it. It was under operators manual (100). Don't know why it wasn't under electrical also but any way. Guess I try to keep it simple figuring they would too. Thanks again!
SmilinSam 3,940 Posted November 14, 2005 Just for fun here is the diagram for an earlier 7016 using the starter generator rather than the flywheel starter...
Brucep 0 Posted November 14, 2005 I had one similar to that from when I had my old 3410 with a starter generator.
Mack 1 Posted November 15, 2005 If you know the Mfg#,I find it's easier and a lot quicker to enter it at this link to find what's available. http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/techpubsearch.php

UCD 14 Posted November 15, 2005 Mack The only problem with the Tech Pubs site is that not all manuals listed there are available for download and not all manuals available are listed. Granted the Tech Pubs vendors site is harder to use but if the directions for Simplicity Technical Publications Document Search on how to use the Tech Pubs vendors site that I have posted are followed it only takes a couple min. to find any manual you want if it is on the site. Brucep 0 Posted November 15, 2005 I usually do good with the tech pubs site. My problem is sometimes what I am looking for isn't where I think it should be. I'll just have to take the time to look into other places within the site.
