Cat. 0 Planter

Has or does anyone use a planter (Brinly KK500, Cole Plant Jr or MX) on their garden tractor? I'd like to use the Cole MX on my Legacy. I'm not sure how it would handle or even if the planter is too big. Cole does make a Cat.0 and Cat.1 hitch for the MX planter. The Cole MX weights 179 pounds without seed and fertilizer. Any thoughts or experience on this subject would be appreciated.

Kevin, the company my dad worked for a few years back was a sister to Cole Planters and they were made at the same factory. I can tell you first hand the Cole planter would do you a fine job. The Jr. model is very well builtand was made for use behind a tractor. It's heavy, but the design is tough and will last a LONG time. I can't speak for the others, but I wish I had a Jr. model. I just couldn't aford it when they sold out and moved.
