Drag Link

I would like to tighten up the slop in the drag link on my 716H. I removed the bolts and see a bushing, that is pretty lose. Not sure if the bushing is worn or the drag link? Thinking of welding the hole a bit smaller then drilling it out to fit the bushing. Any ideas?

That should work. You could also drill the hole in the drag link to make it round again and then make a new bushing that fits it.

Is that where the play is at? Or is it in the socket itself? I'll have to look at my 712,but my old 2110 has an adjustment,in the link itself,to make the socket part tighter.

The slop is the hole where the bushing is.
