Can't find, help please

I thought there was but can not find an article on the steps to go through when not getting a spark. I have a 725 with no spark and am starting to get tired of working on finding the elusive spark. Thnx Herm

I did a search for ignition and found several dozen topics that would pertain to the briggs style ign.

Look at your points and magneto, clean and adjust, if that doesn't fix it then if the engine is original then you can't get new mags from briggs anymore and the flywheel is not designed for use with a magnetron coil so if the mag is bad you might want to convert to battery ignition using a 12volt coil.
