VC Sealant?

The Simplicity Parts Manual says to use "VC" sealant for some of the bolts on the hydrostatic transmission. What is this stuff? Would Loctite 545 auffice?

Not sure of the loctite product # but I got it from my local hydraulic place. Told them what I needed & they fixed me up with a loctite product that does the job. StanD
