Did I miss a good one???

Went to my local town transfer station (dump) on Sat. Saw a Simplicity model 4111 tractor sitting at the scrap metal area. Looked to be complete with very little rust and even had a mower deck on it! Went home to get my trailer but by the time I got back there they had put it in the dumpster and crushed it! Looked to be a small tractor with no hydro so I was not too upset by missing it. Was it worth anything? I did talk to one of the workers there and he said to let them know if I'm planning to come back for anything and they will put it aside for me. Oh well maybe next time???

They make nice lawn tractors. I had a 4212,a similar tractor,that I sold to my nephew. It had a very tight turning radius,did a great job on the grass.I've never used one for snow duty,can't comment there.
