I don't know of any books about garden tractors in general..But if your into Wheel Horse tratcors there is a real good book called Straight From The Horse's Mouth by Michael Martino Jr. Its a very good book about the history of Wheel Horse and has alot of pictures drawings sales books, ect..Also has model identiy numbers for all tractors and implements up to 1985.. The Wheel Horse club also puts out a magazine for its members that I have heard is some real good reading to..Think its just a magazine they send out about 4-6 times a year..Think its called Horse Power? Sure would like to see that kind of history and info books on other brand tractors..But never have found anything..

If a person wanted to do a photo book of garden tractors a good place to start would be Don and Byron Millers collection in Pentwater MI. I have no idea how many they have but its well over 200. Lots of brands and styles I never heard of, their annual show is worth attending if only to look at all the different brands and models they have accumulated. A vist to the Millers adds new meaning to the term "way to much stuff".

I came across this one on rototllers accidently a few days ago. Though not a garden tractor book, It seems to fit the theme. http://cgi.ebay.com/The-Rototiller-in-America-A-Great-Christmas-Gift_W0QQitemZ4595026344QQcategoryZ378QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Speaking of Wheelhorses, here's a nice article on their recent get together. These people seem to "do it right"... http://www.farmcollector.com/articles/wheelHorse/

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
