Powermaxes have been going around $1000 to $3000.It all depends on condition, sheetmetal.if it has 3-point lift and rear PTO and etc.Pics would help too.And also location is important too.Hope this helps Tony

That is what you get for a What's It Worth question with no pictures or accurate description. Nothing like buying a Pig in a Poke. The actual value is What someone is willing to pay for it and what you are willing to sell it for. Sight unseen it is worth at least $100 but I guess you wouldn't part with it for that. The remark about the JD didn't help either. To get to the bottom of it we get so many WHAT'S IT WORTH questions they get old especially with no picture or description. It is like calling your doctor and saying I am sick what is wrong with me.

No Joe I have no idea what a 4040 looks like. With over 23,000 posts it is not my first day on the beach. Knowing what a 4040 looks like still doesn't tell what condition your's is in. You sound like a banker I knew. He said a 63 corvette split window coupe was not worth $8,000.00 because it wasn't in the book and didn't have a book value. But I went in on a car that had a $10,000 book value and he would loan $8,000.00 on it site unseen. I paid $1,500.00 for it and that was all it was worth for the condition it was in. You got an honest answer for the question and the way you asked it. It is worth at least $100.00 maybe more depending on condition. Just because someone got $4,000.00 for one doesn't mean your's is worth that.
