I brought this home today

I bought this today, don't know if it runs yet, but for the price I couldn't keep it from following me home;)

Supposedly it was from an MTD. it has a unique governor linkage and pulleys on both sides.

that's what I was thinking, too. A carb and a S/G was enough to make it a good idea. I'm not sure the wife would agree, but as long as it stays under the porch, I won't have to.

IIRC, the other pulley was to either run a hydro pump or you could reverse the S/G and use it like that if you needed to. The Kohlers in the Cubs are like that too, but the ones in John Deeres are not.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
