Snow blade hitch

I have a 7790. I just picked up a snow plow blade, but the hitch for the plow binds against the front axle so I cannot pick the blade up. Does anyone know the correct hitch for the snow blade for the 7790.

do you know anything about the hitch, as far as what kind of tractor it came off of? If you have pics that may help also. I have a dozer blade for my new sovereign which came off of a 3112h, the hitches are basically the same but i did have to cut reposition and re-weld the lift arm so it would not hit my hood. this may be the case for yout 7790. I can take some pics and post them, although i know there are a few posts here somplace depicting what i just described.

I am not so good with photos, but I will see if I can get my son to take a picture or two so that you can see them. No, I don't know what the plow was originally made for.

That blade is for the smaller tractors , Like ac-b112. It looks just like the one on mine. You will need to remove and replace the lift bracket forward, so it will not hit the front of your tractor.

Mark the hitch you have on the tractor is for one of the older larg frame FDT's. What has to be done is you have to cut teh lift arm off the ftame and reposition it so it clears the hood. Many of us have done this and there are pictures somplace in the club archives. if i can i will go take some photos today of the same hitch i just modified to fit my RBT Sovereign. do a search here and see if you come up with anything in the meantime. john
