jamie555 Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 A couple of weaks ago ,saw an add for a 1969 simplicity 3112, runs good, everything works, includes snow blade and mower, never used, rebuilt carb. Both front headlights and the one in back. It is in such good shape, the owener is in to cubs, so he wants to sell it. said he would sell it for $400. Now I ask you, would it be wrong for me to not buy this? I think the wife said wait until after christmas. So I said OOOOKKK!!!
PatrickE Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 I would have bought it a couple of weeks ago when you saw the add! Where is it at, I'm only 25 minutes east of you. Besides, I only have 4 tractors and need some more!
ehertzfeld Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 I would have talked to the guy, see if you could have payed for it but store it there till after Christmas! Ok I really wouldn't have done that "Melanie would kill me if I did" :) But it's a good idea right??? Elon
comet66 Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 Jamie, you should have snapped it up, and stored it here until after Christmas.
FastPaul Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 Just remember it's eazier to ask for forgiveness than permition!! I'd love to find a tractor like that.
AGCO918 Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 If you have the money and a place to put it Buy it.I missed ot on a Allis Chalmers 917 with electric lift and 48 inch deck about 2 yrs ago for $550.00.Wish now i would have had the money because all it needed was a good clean up.Dont regret buying something if you want it.
