MPH 12 Posted January 4, 2006 "synthetic gear oil" the only thing made. Don't know if the cold temp oil test I did a few years ago is still saved in the site or not. Did it in respounce to someone thinking they needed a new battery because they couldn't start thier tractor at zero with 30wt oil. Turnned into a lot of fun. I prefer AMSoil but it's hard to find here anymore so I've gone to Valoline that NAPA carries. It tested out just as fluid in the cold.
RayS 79 Posted January 4, 2006 I use mobile 1 products in all the stuff that I have that is either new when I bought it or has been rebuilt. My 1999 truck that I bought new has ran 5w-30 since the first oil change and has around 130,000 miles on it and uses no oil. I use synthetic gear oil in all the BGB that I have rebuilt.
