Synthetic gear oil

Has anyone found any problems using synthetic gear oil in these tractors ? any prefered brands ? thanks

None in my tractors but I run Mobile 1 synthetic gear oil in all my road vehicles with no problems.

"synthetic gear oil" the only thing made. Don't know if the cold temp oil test I did a few years ago is still saved in the site or not. Did it in respounce to someone thinking they needed a new battery because they couldn't start thier tractor at zero with 30wt oil. Turnned into a lot of fun. I prefer AMSoil but it's hard to find here anymore so I've gone to Valoline that NAPA carries. It tested out just as fluid in the cold.

I use mobile 1 products in all the stuff that I have that is either new when I bought it or has been rebuilt. My 1999 truck that I bought new has ran 5w-30 since the first oil change and has around 130,000 miles on it and uses no oil. I use synthetic gear oil in all the BGB that I have rebuilt.
