New Tractor Tool/Carry Box

Recommended Posts

Didn't like the box I put on the tractor when it was new so I made another one. Per UCD's suggestion I checked with the local paint & body store for some thread inserts. Theygave me four inserts. Love small towns and local shops. Installed two thread inserts, made a bracket to mount on the seat, made two pieces for the box, and put it all together. Works good. Just what I wanted. Note the recycled washing machine part, water hose reel hanger bracket, and Rubbermaid cereal box with removable lid. "Ole What's Her Name" donated the box without being aware of it. All materials were found in my shop junk/supplies. Marty, No. Have to remove the box before tipping the seat pan up/back. Box drops onto the seat bracket with a "U" shape on the box bracket. Got away with stealing the box. She didn't mind. :D John, You gotta know how to negotiate these deals when you get caught. :)

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
