Got this today. Its a hospital/nursing home patient lift...has a capacity of 400 lbs. Should be useful for lifting LOTS of stuff! ie motors, transmissions, more motors, mower decks, etc. And the price was right...free!

looks like a light duty engine hoist too me. Somebody was just misusing it before. :)

All you have to do now is fiqure how you can get that in your trunk when you are picking up 'treasures' here and there. He, he!!:D:D

The verticle part is easily removed from the legs...Im thinking about making it mount to the receiver hitch..

That'll work, maybe even with a swivel, so you can spin the boom around.
