Boney Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 I wanted to poke around and see if I could figure out why the 725 would not charge. While I am not a trained mechanic I think I found the problem.
KSever Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Might just need a GOOD cleaning [:0][:0]:D:D Maybe some 80 grit sandpaper might do it.}:)
UCD Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Clean the contacts and it might surprise you if a coil isn't burnt out.
D-17_Dave Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 As Maynard said, clean it out w/ some compressed air and clean the points and try it. It might just go to working.
Morris Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 At least yours was in better shape than mine. Removing the cover released a minor cloud of rust in mine. Wasn't much under there any more. Bought a new one, obviously.
