PS I had never "resized" pictures before in my life, but I downloaded free software from the link below and figured it out pretty easily. Only took about 10 seconds per picture. http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

Erik, I use IrfanView. A free download listed under resources. I change the colors to 16 colors, then change the size to 640x480. They almost always post first time. Once in a while, I have to do something else to make them smaller, but not often. Just be careful of the names you use. Follow the convention that Maynard has stated in his sticky.
