Anyone know the parts number for a 16 hp kohler flywheel? are there any other kohler engine flywheels that will work ? will a 10 - 12 or 14 hp kohler work? JJ

JJ, I read somewhere that the 14 and 16 both used the same crank and had the same weight pistons and rods. From this I would assume that the flywheel would be the same also. I really can't say about the 12. That flywheel may also be the same. Since these engines are internally balanced, I would try a 12 flywheel if I had one.

I am currently running a K301, 12hp flywheel on my K341, 16hp engine w/o any problems.

I been told (no actual experience with this) that the KT engine flywheels are interchangable with the K series single. The Magnum flywheels are threoitically interchangable also, but they have the plastic fins and magnet on the flywheel.
