DoubleT 0 Posted August 31, 2000 My father partially tore down his K321 and found the exhaust valve comes slightly open on the compression stroke. Is this some sort of automatic compression release? Sorry, it's not even on a tractor.. just an old Ranger track atv. And for those who may be curious, the Big 10 is still tore down, I've only had time to tear down the 112 and rebuild it's bevel gear box, so now they're both scattered throughout the garage. JeffNemes 1 Posted September 1, 2000 Interesting thing about those CRs - they can really make your engine hard to crank over if they are not right!
DoubleT 0 Posted September 4, 2000 Thanks guys. It got me curious enough to order a book for it to see how it doesn't lose its' compression while running. Must be some centrifical thingy in there. (from the looks of my garage, I don't think Papa would like for me to take it apart to see what makes it tick... heheh)
