Mack Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Just wanted to give a public thanks to Chris for his quick assistance on getting me the info and parts needed to assemble this old cab. Chris had sent me the assembly instructions for the first cab on the 300 series with electric lift a couple of years ago. After acquiring the second cab for a 300/400 series with armstrong lift a few weeks ago that was somewhat bent up and missing a few pieces.I emailed Original Tractor Cab Co. again, and Chris was kind enough to send what was needed to get it mounted and usable again very quickly. So, here is a testament to the durability and customer service of the Original Tractor Cabs. Just look at these thirtysomthing cabs.(Yeah, I know the new one needs a bath :D)
FastPaul Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Hey Mack good lookin tractors, were's the snow?
Mack Posted January 20, 2006 Author Posted January 20, 2006 I forgot to thank Craig Garbers also, for the snow thrower and cab. Of course, when I picked them up at Craigs,we had to dodge rain drops and even had thunder & lightning to deal with.Very odd for the end of December in Ohio.Hardly had anything but rain since too.
MikeES Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Chris at OTC, has been helpful to me also and sent me info no charge!
comet66 Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Man, you are good to go into anything in comfort! I'm jealous.
AGCO918 Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Cabs on those tractors look Great.I have never seen a 300 or 400 series with a cab.
MPH Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Is that an oil pan heater plug I see hangging out on the one with the stack muffler?
BigSix Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Mack: What a pair--those cabs look great! I like how complete they both are, right down to the backup lights. None of my tractors have any lights. :( Are they really 30 years old? What's the tank sticking out the back of the closer tractor?
Mack Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 Marty, That's just the fuel line & filter hanging. I drained & removed the gas tank for cleaning. Big Six, The 314H is from 1971 and the 410 is from 1973. The tank sticking out the back is a reservoir for an off brand hydro lift
lboy1971 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 looks like you have about $200-$300 worth of Cub wheel weights too!
JoeJ Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 ;)Paul, ^Isn't it great that folks don't care for the 300/400 series? Means more for you and I:D:D:D:D.
