This is my first Simplicity project...My good friend has a Simplicity 5212.5H tractor 1691235 and a 1690547 Snowblower body and rotor, i have the job of trying to find all the necessary pieces to connect them together, i know i need the hitch assembly, a lift lever kit, and a hitch and lift assembly, maybe also some paperwork that shows how all these pieces connect.I am located near Binghamton,NY and am trying to find used parts at a reasonable cost. Any help or suggestions out there? Thanks, Denny

As for the paperwork, you might try downloading operator/parts manuals from Simplicity. They're free; try the link on www.simpletractors.com There is a "Classifieds" section here in the clubhouse, with a Wanted and For Sale section. Good Luck!

Denny: I'm frequently in Binghamton. There is a local "White Trash Gazette" (a.k.a. a swap sheet) called the "Paper Shop." It's approx. a buck, and comes out weekly, sold in the Hess on Glenwood Ave., in Binghamton, among other places. It covers Northern PA and Southern NY, but seems more based in the (717) area code of PA, which I guess is like an hour away, in Scranton. Anyway, I do occasionally see Simplicities advertised in there. My father has a blower hooked to his 2110, in Binghamton, and if I get my new computer soon, I could send you some pics, but surely there are people on this site who could shoot you a series of pics much faster than I could get mine together. I think you'll have to figure out if you've got a "3-belt" or a single belt blower, for starters, (and I didn't take the time to research it from your model number) as (I believe) the clutching is different. Again, I'm sure someone will jump in here.... Good luck! Peter

Want ads belong in the Classifieds. We're getting a LOT of them posted here, and we're going to stop it -- if that means deleting the posts. Everyone -- Classified ads get results, your "want" doesn't scroll off the page for a month, and people can get your contact informaton. Please use them. grambette -- I'm not specifically picking on you, since you're new here. It just seems that when someone "gets away with it" then a bunch of others "pile on" and make it worse...

If you need help finding a part #, then this is the place to ask. If you are looking to buy parts, then as Kent said, that belongs in the Classifieds. Since this site has been set up with the different forums to make it easy for everyone, we need to keep these items separated so that everything does not end up back in one single forum like it was when the site was first set up. Since you are a first time user, please consider these comments as assitance. We know that it usually takes a little time to learn all the features available on this site.
