Hydraulic Filter Assembly

I broke the hydraulic filter assembly. (yes I know, very stupid move, I was backing up and not looking, hit the big tractor rear tire, 18.4 X 34) The filter is on the quik way loader on my Legacy. A replacement at Northern Equipment Supply are on backorder. The google search is not coming up with anything tangible. Can anyone point me to where I can get a new one??? The filter is on the return line and I think it is 3/4" NPTN female on both sides. Thanks in advance.

If you have the # on the filter you should be able to take it to a more reputible auto supply like Napa or Carquest and they should be able to cross it over to one of thiers. Best bet is to get a replacement from your Simplicity dealer so it stays the correct micron and flow rateing.

Hey, When I called the loader manufacturer, they told me they didn't put filters on the loaders. I found an exact match at Northern, but they were backordered. I got a couple off Ebay that are better. Built for Kubotas, they have bypass valves, are a bit larger, and can handle over 100 PSI. I got 'em both for $28. The extra one is for my old wood splitter that I bought used for $50 and put on a new engine and rebuilt the ram. It never had a filter either, but when I drained the hydraulic oil, I found lots of grit and crap it it. Hydraulic filters all around!
