Rebuilding Power Steering Ram

What is involved in rebuilding a Hyd ram? Previous post on loose steering on a D/A 1920. The ram is leaking and I would like to fix it prior to mowing season. Is there kits available or would it be better to take it to a rebuilder. Thanks Steve

I could be wrong but I think these are not intended to be re-built. There is no way to take it apart. I bought a new one for my Sunstar a number of years ago. Cost then was around $60.00.

Bill is right, it is a welded cylinder. Simplicity list is around $125.00 if memory serves me.
