Good eveving members, I have my 917h disassembled in my shop, cleaning and painting. My KT17 kohler has a triple pulley on the front of engine. What would these have been for? I'm going to remove cause I don't know of any reason I would ever use them. dewayne

Could have been a donor engine from some other application. Pics would help to identify it. I don't think it's factory.

The Sears Suburban in my back yard, originally had a triple pulley on the output shaft. Two the same size and one a little smaller in diameter.

My a/c716h has the same thing, I was told it was for the belts for a snowblower, not sure if true or not. It also has a rod connected to the pulley to engage lever on right side of trator. Todd

tfeev, Sounds like what you have is a mechanical front PTO.
