Chris727 1,934 Posted February 5, 2006 Last year there was some discussion over Craftsman's new version of a Johnny Bucket. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=46058 I had been told by a store associate then, that they were not expecting any display models. I happened to go to a different Sears location the other day and to my surprise they had one on display. I was instantly dissapointed. The bucket is only 36" wide. Looked pretty small. They had it mounted on one of the cheap lawn tractors with the light duty 6-speed transmission. If you put that machine through the kind of work Kent and others have used their buckets for, the transmission would surely break. As for the bucket's construction, the handles looked to make it easy to use when mounted on a craftsman, but to use on a simplicity, especially if you wanted to use your hydrolift, you'd need to re-engineer the whole thing. Here are some specs. 200lb bucket weight capacity. Bucket dimensions: 36"x14"x12" Lifts up to 7" 1 year warranty
