I'm thinking of running dual exhaust off my muffler. My exhaust runs out right side frame now. there is a hole on the left side same place size. Im thinking of running pipes up the outside of hood from thereon each side just above the hood. Opinions appreciated. Maybe chrome or black or ? dewayne

I don't see a problem with the method that you propose. Just be aware that the muffler is likely to be designed with the two possible outlets to be set up as either/or. If you open up both of them it will likely change the flow of gases within the muffler, and the backpressure. This could very well make the sound coming out of the muffler somewhat louder.
