KT17 So Why did it die?

Tore the KT 17 down that was in this 917 I just repowered to se what I have to sell on Ebay. Seems someone went to the effort to install new rings at some point in time and forgot to torque the connecting rod bolts on both rods. Never been able to take them loose with my fingers before...how neat...

Tightened rod bolts might eliminate the knocking. :D

seen it before, must have been slackin off on the assembly line or couldnt turn the wrench good nuff, cause it is a pain just to get in that lil space between block halves without poppin out your pistons and other parts poppin out of place.
