Well its been my good fortune to find a Sweepster broom Model C-48 for sale. I contacted the owner to find his asking price, he said make an offer, I hate it when people do that, but I understand why they do. So I offered him $50.00, he said that sounded a bit low. So I thought I'd check around a little before I made another offer to him. I checked Ebay under the current and completed items, but only found one listed that was similar. It had a starting bid of $100.00 and no bids on it. What do you think, I know without a picture its hard to put a value on it and alot depends on the buyers need but would it be worth picking up for $75-$100?

I won one that I had planned to addapt to my 620 for 200.00 last year but the guy wanted to rok me on the shipping. Actually I think he found a local buyer for more money so we aggreed to just drop it. I would have had to modify it to fit but it was a decent sized one. I would have considered it well wourth it for the money if he hadn't been so hard to deal with.

One caution... make sure the brush is usable, as is, if you plan on using it. Otherwise, the price you pay for a replacement brush (broom) might be 10 times the amount you're talking...

Well, I called him back and we agreed on a price. After I pick it up I'll have to figure out how to mount it. Does anybody have pictures of how they mount? As for the brushes, they are in pretty descent shape, I would guess them to be 4"-5" long.
