Jonnysac 56 Posted February 25, 2006 Here's pictures of my B-212 all finished. The tiller was completed a year ago. The tractor took me five months to finish. I don't have any digital pictures of it before I started. Maybe I can scan some of my film prints soon. The hydraulic lift is working very well! I don't have the tensioner pullies for the tiller. Does anyone have a picture of one? Let me know what you think. I also updated my photo gallery today. Hope you like them. Thanks!!!
RayS 79 Posted February 25, 2006 Did you get your decals from Wells Equipment? Very nice job.

comet66 0 Posted February 26, 2006 Nice work!! I didn't realize there was that much down presure on that lift.
dcw06 0 Posted February 26, 2006 Good job!Nice looking outfit!I'm sure somebody here will help you out with the right pullet setup. This is a great place to find answers!
D-17_Dave 12 Posted February 27, 2006 Some prefer the down pressure, some don't. There are several reasons for this that I won't bore you with. I will give you a few alternatives. Besides the float on the hydro-lift, as it's fairly hard on the lift cyl, the tractors that came w/ a slip joint lift rod that prevented this from happening. The tiller's were never ment to opperate with the load of down pressure. Here is a link to a pulley setup that would work with your tractor on e-bay right now. Looks like it has everything you'll need except the pulley for the bevel-gear-box. http://cgi.ebay.com/Simplicity-Allis-Chalmers-Garden-Tractor-Tiller-PTO_W0QQitemZ7747456321QQcategoryZ82242QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

MDB 134 Posted February 28, 2006 Great looking B-212 you have there, looks like you spent some time and effort on that one^ Is the comebine in the background a A-II or a C-II?
mwells 8 Posted February 28, 2006 Great Job!!! Looks nice!! Are you going to get it dirty now, keep it just for show, or use it and take it to shows?

Jonnysac 56 Posted February 28, 2006 Mike, I am not sure what the combine in the background is exactly. I will look into to it and let you know. On the farm, we use a Gleaner N6 combine. We also run all AC tractors. Michael, I am planning on using the garden tractor lightly and also showing it. Those decals I got from Wells Implement really look great. That is the first place to send me a full set. Thanks! Sam, Thanks for the pics! Very helpful!
