landlord need help

started dissembling 1964 landlord two weeks ago sandblasted parts and primed . noticed hood does't fit right at grill, seems to be bent, or maybe wrong hood . does later landlords have different hoods ? have looked at several tractors on web sight can't tell . my tractor is just a landlord newer tractors are called 101 . what is the difference? seems to be different paint on some items . also need dash decal . will a later decal work or one off a early b-10 work ?looks the same shape but has different back ground .does any one reproduce decals for simplicity mowers ? thanks

The Landlord 101 should have the same hood as the 9HP Landlord, the 2010 and 2012.... The 9HP Landlord (MFR 990314) hoods remain the same up until the 1968-model 2110 Landlord and the 3012 Sovereigns -- the first of the "flat hoods"... The dash decal from a B-10 (early or late), Big Ten or B-12 will fit and work, but aren't necessarily the same, as I recall. Some used a "machined aluminum" look, while some were solid black with chrome trim. If it looks close enough to suit you, it'll fit...
