Need parts for really old B&S engine

Looking for help and any information on getting parts for an old 1947 Briggs & Stratton engine (Model# Z, Type# 304326, Serial# 66178). The parts that I need are primary for the carburetor. I got the engine to run (rough) but need the carburetor parts to fine tune the engine. The local small engine shops say their records only go back to the early 60's for parts for B&S engines. Thanks in advance for any help.
