After plowing for hours,i noticed oil all around the base of the engine on my 725,i knew i didn't spill any ,so after all panic wore off i took a real close look ,,,no oil seals were leaking, everything looked normal, oil level was about where i left it,,any one care to guess what it turned out to be ?

Loose oil filter?? (wait.... does it have one?..) Loose oil fill cap??/ Left a can of oil setting under hood ??????? Struck oil while you were plowing????

Nighteye is the winner, its the little parts that can drive you nuts, the oil fill plug was missing the "o"ring that seals it,got to admit i never noticed it even had one to start with--the clue was the groove in the plug, also my Simp. Sno-away walk behind quit on me in the dark a good distance from the house, that turned out to be a small crack in the spark plug boot--melted snow just grounded her out.Good storm !
