New snow finally

MPH

Recommended Posts

Went to Fairbanks for a couple day class and drove home in a blizzard. Got home to 18 inch drifts on most of the driveway, wasn't feeling like blowing snow at midnight:30 so I tested the PT. Kent, they can go through some snow :). Next day with the wind still blowing I cleaned the main run of the driveway, today was nice enough to get the rest done and have a camera outside. Yesterday the breeze had ole Glory flyin' hard, not good cabless snowblowing weather as it was gusting in all directions.

Most the driveway looked like this, 15-18 inches

Out the front door

Deepest drift, almost covered the chute

'nough of that stuff, going back to work monday and waitting out green grass.

Here (A few hundred miles south of you) I am saying 'yippee' patches of green grass are starting to appear and you're happy to see your first major snow. According to the calendar shouldn't that be happening in Australia now? :D:D:D

Marty, Old Glory looks great flying in the Alaskan sky. That snow drift isn't too bad. Only 2 to 3 feet deep. ;) Don't work too hard. Cheers,
