C'mon... everyone knows that a single-stage snowthrower is totally worthless in wet, slushy stuff... ;););););) Good show! :D

That was the first real test of 14 horse Vanguard that I put in it from the old Craftsman that you see in the background.Had to run in 3rd to keep the auger full enough for a full stream!I guess we will have to wait till next winter to see if it will blow snow, unless Mother Nature has different plans ahead!

Maybe I should have done that too because I just mounted the snowblower, to check it out, I got in Jan. this weekend, except I live on a hill so all the water runs away.

Last year Marty "MPH" mowed snow with his sickle bar! Marty has also plowed his snow packed drive with a moldbord plow to plant snow peas. Things like this make you wonder about living in a place that when it gets -40 they call it spring. :D:D:D

i have mowed snow a few times with a small push mower. just happened to have a dusting of snow on the driveway and a mower i was working on or with. Works good on small amounts of light snow. never tried it with a lot of snow or heavy snow. I have mowed water too with mu 48 walk behind mower. didnt work so well.:(

Don't feel bad Marty. I meet my first wife at the bar in feb in MI, With about 6" of fresh snow on the ground. She didn't bilve me when I told her I rode my cycle to the bar. She froze her rear of on the 20 mile ride home.

That's a cool pic - Simplicity actually does that at their proving grounds in order to test snowblowers of all sizes - I have seen pics of them doing it.
