Hey guys what do you think this tractor would be worth? A guy wants to swap this for some truck parts I have,He said his grandparents bought it new,not sure what year? said it still runs good ,could it be a Gilson? thanks

Paul, I had one just like that years ago. It is not a Gilson, I believe it is a MTD product. I used it at our cabin in Northern WI, but it was very hard on it. Had alot of problems with it, mostly wiring and steering stuff.

I'd say save your parts for a better trade deal, don't look like much of a lawn mower to me.

Paul, That is 100% MTD and its mid to late 80's. I have the H. Keller version that was given to me for working on something else.

Like stated, MTD. Its not worth anything to you to use I doubt. Might be worth $100-$200 to someone wanting a cheap rider if it runs good and mows, but my opinion would be to let the guy do the work to sell it himself and give you the cash to buy your parts.

Either a cheap rider for someone,or the engine should be worth a hunderd or so.
