i have a simplicity yeoman 637 with a cab mower deck and a blower attachment, its all original everything, its not beat up but used, Im wondering if its worth restoring it new condition or is it not worth it, its a very good tractor i love it, not a big fan of the pull start, but for an antique i love it>

Well it seems to me that you answered your own question. If you love it, then go for it! What our or anyone else's opinions don't matter! go for it. Elon

I would say go for it,restore it the way you want and have fun with it . I have 4 yeomans and think they are great little machines. I see you live in watertown I live in Beaver Dam if you need something let me know I might be able to help.

It would sure be a fun project, and you've found the right place to get all the support you might need.

My kid has a 616 and wouldnt part with it. Moneywise they are not of great value, but they are quite useful and have a super tight turning radius. You can also convert it to electric start. The 637's also came with the electric start option. You would need a Flywheel with the ring gear and stator magnets, a starter, keyswitch, wiring and battery tray from a junked tractor. They used a small motorcycle battery that sat on a tray in front of the engine above the spark plug area.

I don't have a Yeoman,but an AC Homesteader7,another "mini".Great tractor for trimming,mowing smaller yards,and just cruising the neighborhood.Keep it!
