Left the blower on mine, and made an electric spout rotater. Not taking chances after that last 8 inch dump, a while back.

Been thinkin of takin mine off but then I remember about 5 years ago on April Fools Day we got dumped on with over 18 inches of heavy wet snow! (mashed potatos) Guess I'll wait for a bit as with my luck (Murphy's Law) it will happen again if I remove my blower! Best of luck...

You know that is a good idea, and I think Maynards methodology is the best. Put the cab, blower, & chains on a tractor and leave them on 24/7/3658D Its on my agenda anyhow. Already got the 26HP v twin, a new electric clutch. Just waitin for the DLX or Comparable Deutz or Agco with a blown up engine to enter the picture....

7790 has had a blower installed on it for 21 years 24/7/365.I bought this tractor as a new demo set up the way you see it in Jan. 1985. Cab has never been off and blower only for repairs or replacement. This is the fourth blower on this tractor. Tractor by rough estimate has over 5000 hours blowing snow on it.

All this talk about blowers........Pleh!! lol All i've ever cleared my 120 foot driveway with is a plow blade. I wouldnt know what to do with my time if I blew the snow off the drive. Last 6 years all the 303 broadmoor has done is plow/dozer work. With the two speed tranny it's too slow to mow with in my opinion. Even though my Serf is a smaller tractor it still mows faster because of that third gear. I know....I know....All you big framed guys can chuckle all you want. I like my little tractors. :-)
