I just went and looked at a 3416. I did not have my camera but pictures may be forthcoming if someone else doesn't gobble it up first. It was in better shape than my 7016 (almost anything is) and the engine was replaced in 2000. It has a lawn vac (complete), rear lift, a rear hitch that could swap between a ball or clevis pin) 42 inch snowthrower (in GREAT shape) with front clutch, 48 inch deck in good condition, a moldboard plow (?) and the lights all worked. It had tire chains, rear wheel weights and a counterweight. However, the carb leaked and the price was $1,400. I am not in a hurry and that seemed a little high....but in the ballpark. The machine was clearly well maintained. If anyone of you local guys is interested, I can point you to this machine. Like I said, I will try to get some pictures, but I have some work to do and may not get out again today.

It was still there Saturday afternoon. At that point they were willing to take bids, if the bid was at least 50% of the asking price ($700).

The tractor alone with the new(er)engine is probably worth the $700. But, my wife laid down the law. Going from seven tractors to eight is NOT an option, not even to re-sell it. Anyone want to take four Broadmoors off my hands in the next hour? (A 738, two 728s and a basket-case oil-burning transaxle-leaking 727). Surely some of you have grand children who need a Broadmoor or two to help Grandpa cut grass this summer. And with a nod to a different thread, I took the snow tires off her car this morning. That is a decision that you don't want to be wrong about. No snow thrower when you need it is one thing, a full set of Hakkapeliitta snow tires not on the wife's car is another thing.
