Tiller Belt on B-112

Does anyone know how long the drive belt is that runs from the bgb to the big pulley on a Rear PTO for a B-112??? The drive belt for a B-12 is 56in long, and I know the B-112 and Hydro's have a longer wheel base, the drive belt is NLA from Simplicity for the B-112 but the B-12 drive belt is still avalible. I found out that the B-12 drive belt is 56in long from the operators manuel for a 32inch tiller, that was mounted on a B-10 with the shorter wheel base. In the micro fish we have it shows the longer belt for the B-112 with a rear PTO, does anyone have a tiller mounted on a B-112 or HB-112 or Simplicity equivilents with a rear PTO??? The later 36in tiller shows the engagement for the tiller on the tiller itself, just like a 700/900 series using the 2 idler set up. I have a tiller off a B-12 and I am trying to mount it on a B-112, I've tried some different legnth belts, but haven't had any luck. If I new the correct legnth of belt, I could determine if I have something else wrong with my rear PTO. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

The long or short wheel base has nothing to with length from BGB back. All of the info you want is in the Belt and blade manual that can be downloaded from the Tech V site. There are two drive belts listed one is N/A the other is replacement belt. 105122 is belt from BGB to large pulley 154273 is from small pulley to tiller pulley 32" Tiller Trans. Drive 154273 Length 42.3" Type HL Drive N/A Drive 105122 Length 55.9" Type HB

The B-112 might have used a unique drive belt, P/N 105280, which is 64" long, according to this diagram: http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/tiller/tiller_drive_2.htm I'm not sure why it would be a different length, since I used the 56" inch belts on my 32" tiller on my B-210/HB-216...

On my B 10 from the center of the output shaft on the BGB to the center on the shaft that the pulley that drives the 3 speed transmission it is roughly 12 inches. On my HB 212 and my B 212 the distance from the center of the output shaft on the BGB to the center of the shaft on the transmission is roughly 15 3/4 inches. There is almost a 4 inch difference between the two tractors and the differences are in the side plates that hold the BGB to the transmission. You more than likely would need a 8 inch longer belt. They had to make the tractor longer to be able to get the 48" deck under the B 112. The only difference between a B 112 and a B 212 is the hood and steering wheel.

Ray, You're absolutely correct. I used a 56" belt on my Big Ten, but had to use a longer belt on the B-210. Thanks for correcting us on this...

Everything I can find in the tiller manuals, Tractor manuals and the Belt & blade manuals goes back to the same belts I listed above for B-10 B-12 B-110 B-112. including both short w/b B-110 3spd and long w/b B-110 variable. I also came across the same diagram as Kent posted a link to with these same numbers I listed in the B-1, B-10, B-12, Big ten, B-110, B-112 Attachments manual. The measurement that you need is from bgb to shaft on hitch where clutch asy./drive pulleys mount not BGB to trans. Tomorrow I will go measure my B-110 S/Wb and B-212
