Dead Grass

Recommended Posts

I have noticed I have spots of dead grass wherever I have parked, or stopped to open/close a gate, with my new Sovereign. I cannot detect a gas leak beneath the tractor but it has to be due to either a gas leak or heat from the motor and muffler. Anyone have an idea on how to locate the problem?? Also, I have noticed the Kohler OHC twin puts out a lot more heat on my feet than the old B-1. Seems odd since the heat is supposed to be blowing out the front of the tractor. Roy

I have had the same problem with my muffler burning the grass. I had to reposition the muffler abit, so it would blow up a bit more, in stead of blowing down into the grass, which causes the grass to die. William
