bkassulke Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Michael and I went to a guys house near our school to look at a Case 444 and he decided to show us his hit and miss engines that are hand made out of aluminum barstock. The only boughten parts are the bolts. I wnet over tonight again and he showed us his Case steam engine. A small replica that runs and moves. A friend of his made this the same way he makes the hit and miss engine. Will try to get the pictures posted as I am new at this. Thanks, Benjamin

johnmonkey Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Cool pictures, I'm signed up for the rough and tumble steam school up in Pennsylvania. They have a museum with lots of small steam engines. I hope to learn how to operate one of those big boys. JH
GregB Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Been to Rough and Tumble, great place If you like machines :). They always have a good crowd at their events. Just don't be near the steam whistle at noon, so loud it hurts. GregB
