Noisy BGB in Sovereign?

It seems that my Sovereign has got a rather loud BGB. As it moves along the forest path, with about a 750 lb load of dirt, its fairly quiet when going slightly downhill, but seems rather loud as you go uphill, than somewhat louder when finally going uphill under a full load. Does anyone have any ideas on about how loud noise of the drivetrain should be? I'm thinking my problem is the BGB. It just seems that's where the noise is. BGB is full of oil, and I changed the transmission fluid and filter about a year ago. Thanks to all.

If you have a Sundstrand hydo, usually they get a little noisy when loaded down. If your hydo filter is on the side behind the left rear tire, you want to make sure and not use the short filter as they are known to be noisy. (#1671234 (Short) O.D. is 3.720, Length is 2.280)

Thanks for the info. If you can grab your driveshaft with one hand and the cross shaft with the other you will be able to feel play in the shafts if you hold one tight and rock the other. My 917H has all new parts in it except the case and there is about a 1/16 to a 1/8 of an inch of play and the dealer says that is normal. The problems is when they have 1/4" or so and up.
