OldFarmTractor Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 And to think, I will be going to Plainfield three times this weekend and next weekend heading to Ottowa Lake near Eagle. I wonder if anyone ever needs a tractor picked up in Chicago Area. I should offer my services.
mowerman1193 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Wow thats too bad..I had something simular happen once and ever since then I just bid the max amount I am willing to pay and let it go.. He says the second mower (parts mower) motor wont spin..I bought a 728 four years ago for $25 because the motor was thought to be froze..I brought it home to strip it down for parts for my other one and while taking the starter gen off the engine turned..Turned out the bearing in the starter was shot..I been using the tractor ever since..been my main tractor for tilling, mowing, snowblowing and grading the drive ect..
shanhamm Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 doesnt that just figure, i could have had them picked up also, i hate this computer so much.................
firefoxz1 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Why get up in the middle of the night to bid when you could have plugged $75.00 in before bed or even days before? When I see something I want I bid my max, usually the day it shows up, and then just watch. On rare occassions I re-evaluate an item and bid a second time.
shanhamm Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 i always watch auctions to the last minute. just in case.
