ehertzfeld Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm just about finished with my grader blades. I made the back one last year, but didn't make it angle. Well I finally got to it. At the same time, I made a separate hitch for a mid mount. I made the mid fit in between the inner two pin points, as I have a right hand lever.:D Both blades are cutting edges from an old truck plow. I can switch blades from one hitch to another. These should be handy when I get to re looming my back yard. If you look the mid mount blade is just hanging there. if the bucket isn't being used by the right hand lever, I can hang it off that. But to get them all off the ground, I have to do it this way. ehertzfeld Posted April 29, 2006 Author Posted April 29, 2006 Oh both blades are 48 inches long. Elon
MPH Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Looks to me like your ready to take on the planet and reshape it Elon.
Roy Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 What happens if you drop all three attachments on the ground at the same time????? Do you have enough traction to move? Looks like a versatile and useful set up.

D-17_Dave Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Nice work Elon. Your finally getting some use out of the right hand lift lever. I also like the tread cleats on your foot rest's.
AGCO918 Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Very nice setup you have there. I like the rear blade on the back & the blades on the front & under the tractor. You have a very nice looking tractor as well. You should get better tracion with the tires you have on there.
FastPaul Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Looks a little confusing! All you need know is some four wheel drive
ehertzfeld Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 quote:Originally posted by FastPaul Looks a little confusing! All you need know is some four wheel drive The two ropes do get confusing at times, I'm thinking of getting a cable for the dump, and leaving the rope for setting the bucket. Elon
plastikosmd Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 with those cleats, no bare feet i guess...:) vicious lookin..:) scott
ehertzfeld Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 The cleats on the foot rests are from a trailer. They but them on the back bumpers, so the drivers don't slip in the wet or snow. They work very well, especially in the winter:D Elon
