Why is it so hard to find information on my 918H? Even under the Simple trACtor heading area (Allis Chalmers) there is no listing... What gives? Is this an oddball or something?

I guess you looked at: http://www.simpletractors.com/models/ac_900_series.htm Does yours look like that ? Possibly with a different paint job for Agro. Which engine do you have ? Possibly either the 917H or the 919H. Parts literature etc. should follow the AC 900 series line. Ford

Your 918H can have several ID numbers: 1997 1692846 or 1692847 with power steering 1998 1692951 or 1692941 " " " 1999/00 1693413 or 1693411 " " " You can get yours off the ID tag or under the hood. A Large Tractor service manual and/or parts manual is available for it. Paul

Unfortunately the tag on the body has worn or been heatet, the part # is no longer there. The deck is 1691221 and it has a 18H Kohler twin... I cant remember when my great uncle bought it but it seems like it has been around since the 80's... The manual on Simplicity's website, when I type in the deck # I can find the English operators manual for the 918H w/48" deck. It shows on the second page a tractor # of 1692144 and the deck # already mentioned above.. Manual is Form # 1708898 (1992)
