JEvan1060 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 I just bought an A/C 1968-69 tractor last summer(2005)(the guy was asking$400,I got it for $250) I discovered that I needed tines for mine were worn out for my 36" tiller.I don't know much about it except for the parts manuals you can download from the website.I'm looking for some good used tines or maybe some interchangable parts. Also my reverse gear burned out and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to fix this problem?Any advice would be a great help.I would also be willing to make a trade for a side sickle bar,I have a 42" lawnmower deck if anybody is interested.
RayS Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Welcome to the site. Place a add in the classifieds this forum here is for tractor discussions. The tines are available thru a dealer. Also check ebay they have alot of parts on there.
HubbardRA Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Jevan, Please type in lower case. ALL CAPS is considered yelling. Also, it is much harder to read.
UCD Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 John As said Please lower your caps. Also which is your correct email address theman_a1@lycos.com or JOHN101@PEOPLEPC.COM
Chris727 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 I've noticed many of the mass-produced walk behind tillers use very similar tines, you might find one of those in a junk pile and swap out the tines.
