I agree IronPony. I'm convinced 2 cycles only run but for the grace of God. That's probably why they used 24 of them. Maybe that way 5 or 6 may actually start and run at once to motivate that machine.

when i use to go to the antique engine/tractor shows. there was a guy from ohio that had a home made walk behind tractor with 16 briggs engines all the same model from the 40s or 50s it sounded like a v-8 running last i heard he had lost it in a wreck on his way home from a show
