Was finaly able to replace points, condesor and plug tonight. HB112 now starts with a click of the key no more cranking and cranking.:D:D:D It is possible that these parts (except the plug) were original parts as I have not replaced as far as I can remember. Thanks for the help. It is really appreciated and keeps the wife from shopping for a tractor at Home Depot.:( I seem to have the carb adjusted so that idle and full speed are working without bogging or coughing. But could I get some help with the adjustments on the carb. I just want to understand what they do in case i need to make an adjustment. There seems to be three screws on the carb to make changes. 1 on the butterly shaft. Idle speed? 2 on the lower bowl under the float. Mixture? and 3 90* to butterfly that I have played with 1/4 turn each way but seems to have no affect eitherway. Works great now but am planing to rebuild carb and will need to set up properly at that point. Maybe leave well enough alone? Agian I thank all of you your help. This may seem simple to you guys but I know just enough to get myself in deep doo doo.
