67 landlord 101, whats it worth

Recommended Posts

Guest
I recently purchased a 7119hydro with hyd lift, and now
considering selling my 67 landlord 101 with hyd lift.
the 101 is all original and in good running condition.
I have a 42" deck, heavy-duty front dozer blade, and 32" tiller for the 101.
I would like to use the tiller and the front dozer blade
on the 7119 is that possible ?
If so what would the 101 with the 32" deck be worth?

Tom

While I am not sure I can answer your question
relative to what the 101 is worth, I have recently
begun looking for an AC Big-Ten (or equivalent) and
might possible be interested in working up a deal.
Maybe someone else out there can provide us with some
direction on what its worth. Lots of times though,
it's worth somewhere between what you want out of it
and what I am willing to pay... :)

For my info, what condition is the tractor and deck
in? Also, in your last sentence you say the 101 has
a 32" deck (did you mean 42"?)

Yes I did mean a 42"deck.
The deck has some rot I think its patchable though
The tractor needs a little attention, but is in good running cond,
the right rear axle seal has a small leak and the hydro lift could use a rebuild,
also the engine was recently rebuilt

Tom, the front dozer blade from your landlord will not directly fit on the 7119. The lift arm will interfer with the front chassie. The lift arm will need to be modified. The tiller will work, but you will need to fab. some kind of lever to engage the belt tightener. The tillers for the 7119 are don't use the dual pulleys and belt tightener for a clutch. They are direct drive from the cone clutch with a spring loaded tensioner. If you direct drive the tiller (without the dual pulleys) the tiller willl spin faster. Either way will require some fabrication.

Hello glad I got on this site. I hope to upload a couple of photos of my Simplicity Broadmoor
Model 707 Tractor. I have replaced all the belts on it and installed a new ignition switch.
Have a mower deck which was in poor shape , repaced a couple of bushings and welded the
deck where there was some holes. The tractor and mower deck came from a friend and the
mower deck metal was getting pretty thin. Some new metal was put in it and we also undercoated the underside of the deck. This was done by my friend Greg Toulman.
I have not put the mower deck on the tractor yet, waiting for Greg to come home and give me a hand. Can you please tell me if there is a manual for the mower deck and where I could get one.
I would also like to get some moon wheel discs as well.
I will try and down load some photos of the tractor when my wife shows me how to.
I really love driving this tractor and also how well it is made compare today's tractors, especially the flexible rear end and the rollers.
      Tell the next time
      Paul
