If you ever need to hold a hex head screw inside a socket tightly so that it won't fall out as you thread it into a hard to reach spot with an extension just place a small piece of paper over the socket before inserting the screw head. The paper will wedge between the two and temporarily hold the screw head in place so it can now be turned on it's side or even upside down without falling out of the socket. Just remember to pick up the paper when it falls away - we don't want to litter! :)

Good tip Jeff. There are also magnet sets made to fit inside sockets. But, if you don't want to bother picking up paper, chewing gum will work too AND you can pop the gum back in your mouth when you're finished (yuck).
