DougN Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 I have a nice running A-C B208 with an annoying problem. Unless you are very careful releasing the clutch it pops a little wheelie. I have replaced all the belts and have adjusted the idler pulleys - no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Doug N. Olympia, WA
MrSteele Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 What condition are the pulleys in? If they are rusty or pitted badly, they will grab the belts harder than they should, giving you the wheelies!
Al Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Hi, Are they OEM belts, and are the Belt guides at the engine adjusted to less than 1/8 inch from the pulley? After the rusty pulleys, this is where I would look next. Al Eden
wantedinct Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 How about a set of front wheel weights, thats what i use on my landlord.
Killer_A-C Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Front wheel weights wasnt an option for these tractors. I would sat cruddy pulleys too,Matt
shanhamm Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 i've had my yeoman standing straight up in the air and through me off, now i have an attachement on before i even think about starting it up. i'd get some front weights.
HubbardRA Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 If we could just move this problem over to my shuttle tranny, I would be very happy. It has a slippage problem in 3rd and 4th gears.
