I have a nice running A-C B208 with an annoying problem. Unless you are very careful releasing the clutch it pops a little wheelie. I have replaced all the belts and have adjusted the idler pulleys - no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Doug N. Olympia, WA

What condition are the pulleys in? If they are rusty or pitted badly, they will grab the belts harder than they should, giving you the wheelies!

Hi, Are they OEM belts, and are the Belt guides at the engine adjusted to less than 1/8 inch from the pulley? After the rusty pulleys, this is where I would look next. Al Eden

If we could just move this problem over to my shuttle tranny, I would be very happy. It has a slippage problem in 3rd and 4th gears.
